Colorado Springs Family Photos || The Jones Family

I met up with the beautiful Jones lades on a beautiful Colorado Springs Fall evening. There really is no evening more lovely than 70 degrees and finding yourself at the top of your city. With the leaves quickly falling, the Jones Family chose to meet up with me at the top of Palmer Park for their family photos. We were surrounded by thick evergreens and some lovely glowing Russian Oak. Just the perfect backdrop for these three!

But forget about the scenery! These three ladies are gorgeous inside and out. They are poised and confident and – my goodness – do they ever love each other. What a wonderful relationship I witnessed between these two sisters and between Rachelle and her daughters. I pray that they treasure one another forever – and that they always find it so easy to laugh together!

Miss Liz is currently a senior at Vista Ridge High School...but not for long! She'll be graduating in just a few days and I thought I'd share her senior photo session in commemoration of the event! Liz chose to use a combination of Bear Creek Park and the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade for her senior photo session. I just love how these turned out! They are so bright and colorful - and I do believe a perfect reflection of Liz's personality. I always know a session is going to be good when I start hearing about the outfit selection process WAY before the actual session. One of my favorite moments of every senior girl's session is when she ope ...
The Deans Family
It was truly a joy to photograph this beautiful, HAPPY little Myles and his parents. The drool said this little baby was cutting teeth, but the smiles and giggles proved that nothing bothers him! His mamma is an old friend, but I hadn't seen her in many years. I was blessed to spend a sunny summer morning catching up with her and getting to know her sweet family.
The Perry Family
From the moment Lindsey first contacted me about her family's photoshoot, I could tell she had a vision and that she knew exactly what she wanted. We went back and forth a few times about the location and she shared with me all that she had planned. You see, this was a ver special photoshoot for Lindsey and her three (soon to be four!) littles. We were to meet up the Saturday before her husband, Nick, would set off on a nine-month deployment. The day of the shoot, it was so much fun to see Lindsey's vision come together - and to celebrate and capture their love for Nick and their pride in the honor of his work. Thank you Nick and Lin ...
