Evangeline is One || Colorado Springs Family Photographer

Little miss Evangeline is proof that you only need a baby to be happy for 15 minutes to get beautiful photos. This little lady had her heart set on adventure the minute she arrived at the park for her one-year portrait session. However, she was happy to indulge us for just a bit by sitting next to this tree and laughing at her daddy. And that was all we needed. We captured her one-year-old beauty and personality and then she was off to roam.

She wandered the path, checked out ALL the flowers, and even took a turn on the slide. And she left happy. It is my goal for my families to leave their shoot feeling like they had a good time. And I do believe that – if she could put it into words – Evangeline would tell you that she had a blast!

Waddington Family
I love photographing this family! Seriously, you can't go wrong with a three-year-old who loves to explore and a baby girl who is curious about the camera. And it really is a photographer's joy to meet up with families every six months or so and watch them grow. I'm thankful for the opportunity and am already looking forward to their next session that is right around the corner.

Vista Ridge High School || Class of 2016 || Liz
Miss Liz is currently a senior at Vista Ridge High School...but not for long! She'll be graduating in just a few days and I thought I'd share her senior photo session in commemoration of the event! Liz chose to use a combination of Bear Creek Park and the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade for her senior photo session. I just love how these turned out! They are so bright and colorful - and I do believe a perfect reflection of Liz's personality. I always know a session is going to be good when I start hearing about the outfit selection process WAY before the actual session. One of my favorite moments of every senior girl's session is when she ope ...
The Waddington Family
I've been photographing the Waddington Family since little Miss Evelyn was about 2 weeks old. For me, it is so much fun to see these kids ever six months or so and watch them change and grow. Ethan is - and always has been - a stellar treasure hunter and I've seen Evelyn go from tiny newborn to busy toddler. I was so sad to learn last month that the Waddingtons are moving back to Washinton, DC. I'm thankful that they made time during the busy move to sneak in one last photo session. I'm sure going to miss them!
