I cannot wait to show you the images from Heather & Ryan's beautiful wedding day. However, it just seems right that their classic Colorado engagement photos should come first. Right? For their engagement session Heather & Ryan chose the rustic - and beautiful - red barn at the open space just south of Castle Rock. We met up on a cloudy day and had just enough time to complete their session before the rain really started to come down. Fred & Gracia are Engaged
Happy Valentines Day! What better way to celebrate around here than with a little love! Want to hear a romantic story? Fred recently moved to the Seattle area and he and Gracia don't get to see each other that often. They tested the long-distance-relationship waters for a couple of months and decided that's enough of that! So on Superbowl Sunday, Fred gave Gracia the surprise of her life when he flew to Colorado, snuck up behind her at the park, and asked her to be his wife. Colorado Springs Engagement Photos || Josh & Maddi
In one week, these two will officially tie the knot - so this seems like a most appropriate time to reflect on their very Colorado engagement session. I tell you what, the state of  Colorado really dealt us a blow on the afternoon of Josh & Maddi's shoot. The weather was painfully cold, but because they live far away, we just could not reschedule. Thank goodness these guys are tough cookies! Between the bright sun, the wind, and the freezing temps, this session earned the title "Most Challenging Photo Session Ever" in my books.  We shot for about 15 minutes - sat in the car for 30 to warm up - and then shot for 15 more.
