A New Fish For Briggs

Lifestyle Personal

The buying of a fish. It’s an ordinary thing, I suppose.

However, I heard it said once that the better we tell our stories, the better we want to live them. And this is an ordinary story that I wanted to tell.

It’s a story about allowance, and saving, and learning to value money. It’s about my boy’s Lego watch and shoes worn out from a whole year of Kindergarten. It’s about brothers and sisters and about caring for a pet.

And I’ll let you figure out what happened there in the middle with the neon green rocks.

Thank you for listening to my story today and for giving me a place to tell it.

Emily, the world's most fabulous doula, knows a lot about birth and babies. She's helped many, many moms and dads bring their little ones into the world. I was so honored and excited to be a part of the team of people that would be there for her ...

And if you make it all the way through this photo overload, there might just be something in it for ya. If you're up for a little contest that is.Okay, now for the contest. Wanna play? I'd like you to take a guess at how many photos I took of this babe during her first month of life. Just take a stab at it. Then head over to my Good Photo Facebook Page, like that page, and then post your guess in the comments of the link to this blog post. The person ...
