Paint Mines Engagement Session || Breanna & Justin

Engagements Weddings

When Breanna and I began to talk about locations for their engagement session, I asked her if she and Justin were willing to do a bit of exploring and let me try out a new location on them. She readily agreed and I looked forward to their paint mines engagement session for weeks!

It was a bit of a drive and a bit of a hike – and it was totally worth it all. This beautiful little gem on the plains of eastern Colorado was the perfect backdrop for Justin & Breanna’s session. And all of the hiking around gave me time to learn more about them, about their plans for their wedding, and their dreams of the future. For example, it was their love for the Philadelphia Eagles that (quite literally) brought them together and they already have a bit of a wine and scotch date planned for their fifth anniversary.

Thank you both for exploring with me. I cannot wait to photograph your wedding in just four weeks!

Mr. & Mrs. Dillavou’s Fox Run Park Wedding
I'm excited to share Ellen and Cameron's Fox Run Park Wedding with you today! I've heard it said that rain on your wedding day brings good luck. If this is true, then Cameron and Ellen are by far the luckiest couple I know. Minutes before their outdoor ceremony, the sky opened up and let loose. The rain came pouring down with no intention of stopping. Ellen waited patiently for a little while and then said, "Guys, I just want to get married." So out into the rain we went to witness their touching - albeit soggy - nuptials. If you know me, you know that I am a big fan of having the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony. I kn ...
Wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens
As the daughter of a passionate gardner, I've been to the Denver Botanic Gardens many times before - but never for a wedding. When Allison asked me if I'd like to assist her with Mike & Amanda's wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens, the answer was an immediate "yes!" And these two Colorado Springs girls had a blast tearin' up downtown Denver with this bridal party! From two different (gorgeous) "getting ready" locations, to the gardens, to a reception in the top of a clocktower across town, this bride and groom gave us the full urban wedding experience and PLENTY of beauty to capture. Mike & Amanda's day went off without a hitch... ...

Keegan & Lauren || Wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch
I was thrilled when Jen asked me to assist her with Keegan & Lauren's wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch in January. Not only are January wedding unique, they are also so, so beautiful here in Colorado. On Keegan & Lauren's wedding day, Spruce Mountain Ranch - located just north of Colorado Springs - had just enough snow to testify to Colorado's natural Winter beauty and just enough warmth that we could spend time outside capturing it. From the moment I met Lauren, it was easy to see that she had poured over every beautiful detail of her day. From Lauren's first look with her dad to a stunning bouquet to a sweet gift exchange between ...
