A Morning with the Mayberrys

These are the days, mama.

The days when coffee is reheated five times before lunch…and three times after. The days of diaper changes and pajama changes and outfit changes for all. When playtime is really work time and the play-doh recipe is known by heart. And when you are so relieved that Daddy is home for lunch.

These are the days when hide and seek is something that you are teaching them and peeling an orange is an act of service.

Mama, on these days you are often outnumbered and you are sometimes tired. And on these days, those quiet moments riiiight before nap time are sacred and you wish they would never end. And you also hope that your little one will nap just a little bit longer.

Capture these days and put them in a book. You’ll want to remember this years from now when your days are so very different from the way things are now.

What an honor it was to spend the morning with Beth Mayberry and her girls. From wake-up time to nap time, they allowed me a glimpse into their morning routine and favorite activities.

Oh how I love witnessing families’ lives through these Mundane Moments documentary sessions. Beth is such a gentle mama who loves her little girls so well. And those two babies of hers are just.the.sweetest. Enjoy a little glimpse into this very ordinary - and totally extraordinary - morning with the Mayberrys!

Beth is already so great at capturing her own life and keeping a beautiful record of it - what an honor that she allowed me to do this for her! Take a minute today to check out Beth’s great blog - www.oakandoats.com - you won’t regret it!

And when you’re ready to book your own documentary session, get in touch here!
