Downtown Colorado Springs Photographer || Best Friends Forever

There’s nothing like summer in downtown Colorado Springs and the top of this downtown parking garage made the perfect setting for a photoshoot of these sweet friends! These eight little ladies have known each other for their entire lives and are growing up together as total BFFs.

I don’t often get to orchestrate photoshoot just for fun, but last Spring I decided that I wanted to do a themed photoshoot with my daughter and her seven favorite friends…who also happen to be the daughters of MY favorite friends. It’s a pretty great arrangement if you ask me.

I spent months visiting thrift stores in Colorado Springs and gathered enough colorful outfits, accessories, shoes, roller-skates, and skateboards to dress all eight of my models. We picked a date that everyone was free, dressed and primped and did hair, arrived at our location…and then it rained. Of course. We waited out the rain (and lightening!) and then HUSTLED through this shoot. While it may not have been as relaxed and warm as I had hoped, I still could not be happier with the results.
